Pic(k) of the week 23: Baby jungle jet

Most common types of business jets come from one of three countries; USA (Cessna, Gulfstream and Boeing) ,  Canada (Bombardier) and France (Dassault and Airbus).

A relative new player in the cooperate aviation market is Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer which is known for its regional jets (ERJ) but which is since a few years, also selling a lot of small private jets in the Phenom line.

Even though they seem to hold up very well against some of the manufactures above, they are sometimes nicknamed, "jungle jets". The smallest and most sexiest looking one is the new Phenom 100, a "baby jungle jet". The image above was made at Kortrijk-Wevelgem airport where the aircraft is operated by Abelag (ex Sky Service), one of the oldest and most respected business aviation companies in Belgium.
